5 Back Squat @ 50% 1rm

I used 185lbs, this was my first real workout since my vasectomy back in Sept. I have had issues with intense lingering pain. Up until two weeks ago I was still sitting with pillows under my legs to take pressure off my testicles. Still unable to run without being sore for hours. Doc has me on a no running profile… oh shucks. Chose what I thought would be an easier weight. I was wrong. First few mins went well, by round five I knew the weight was to heavy. Pushed through for all ten rounds, legs are still sore three days later. Thanks Josh Bridges for this little gem.

Rest min 10 mins

45 mins zone 2 cardio

Used the rower since I can’t run, not that I would run anyway…running sucks. Highly recommend taking the full ten to recover. Think I only rest 2.5, 3 mins. My heart rate was still jacked from squatting. Felt like I was dying for the first 25 mins or so. I think I was pulling like 510 cal per hr or something super slow. When I was pulling 730 before the surgery. Don’t be like me, take your time and recover fully.
