Deadlift Day

In home station training this week, release early today so I went to the gym sands workout clothes. Had to lift in boots and Uts.

5×5 @ 195

5×5 @ 225

Amrap @ 245: score-20 reps

Following Wendlers 5/3/1 program for deadlift.

Had to take my reps slow, accidentally hit myself in the berries during warm. Did not feel good. First two working sets felt good. The weights moved well even though I was moving them slower, so as to not hurt myself. The AMRAP set started out slow, once I got to 10 reps all self-preservation went out the window. By rep 15 my grip started to give out. The last couple reps were a struggle to hold the bar. If I had lifting straps I probably could have done 3 or 4 more reps. Cheaters use straps.

No Cardio today, boots not allowed on the machines.
